{"id":3805,"date":"2023-02-22T13:52:25","date_gmt":"2023-02-22T10:52:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eage.in.ua\/?page_id=3805"},"modified":"2023-11-03T22:34:11","modified_gmt":"2023-11-03T19:34:11","slug":"monitoring-2020-2-2","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/eage.in.ua\/?page_id=3805","title":{"rendered":"Monitoring 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ESI \u201cInstitute of Geology\u201d of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv with the support of the European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers (EAGE) organizes a conference dedicated to the monitoring of natural hazards, which includes both geological hazards, and study of the geological factors that can lead to environmental disasters.<\/p>\n<p>The conference will include new approaches to using geological and geophysical methods for natural and man-made processes assessment, as well as ecological analysis of territories.<\/p>\n<p>Due to the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, it is important to assess the impact of military action on the state of the geological environment and critical infrastructure, which can be considered by almost all sections of the conference.<\/p>\n<p>The objective of this event is to facilitate the exchange of valuable scientific experience, integration of different sectors of research, and improvement of interagency and international cooperation.<\/p>\n<p>There will be a student program.<\/p>\n<p>Participation in the scientific program is FREE for Ukrainians.<\/p>\n<p>Citizens of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus cannot participate in the conference in any format.<\/p>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2>IMPORTANT DATES<\/h2>\n<p>15 March \u2013 15 <strong>\u00a0September 2023<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Call for papers<\/p>\n<p>6 November 2023 \u2013 registration and accommodation of participants<\/p>\n<p>7\u201310 November 2023 \u2013 Conference<\/p>\n<h2>VENUE<\/h2>\n<p>Online\u00a0 and Onsite<\/p>\n<p>Institute of Geology<\/p>\n<p>Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv<\/p>\n<p>Kyiv, Vasylkivska st., 90.<\/p>\n<h2>PRESENTATIONS<\/h2>\n<p>15 minutes are allocated for presentation and 5 minutes for discussion.
