We are pleased to announce that the Final programme of the Monitoring 2026 Conference<\/strong> <\/a>is now available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conference programme brings together keynote presentations, a panel discussion, poster sessions, and parallel technical sessions<\/strong>, addressing current challenges and innovations in geophysical and environmental monitoring<\/strong>. A central highlight of the first day will be the panel discussion \u201cGeological Monitoring in Times of Crisis: From Data to Decision-Making\u201d<\/strong>, where experts from academia, industry, and government will discuss how monitoring systems operate when access to field data is limited and decisions increasingly rely on satellite observations, digital platforms, and integrated geospatial information systems<\/strong>. The discussion will focus on how scientific results can be translated into practical decisions for government, industry, and communities<\/strong>, and will outline future priorities for monitoring technologies, data integration, and AI applications in geosciences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The technical programme will cover a wide range of topics, including modern technologies of geophysical monitoring, monitoring for energy transition and decarbonization projects, and digital monitoring technologies with advanced data integration and AI tools<\/strong>. The conference will also feature poster sessions<\/strong>, creating opportunities for discussion and knowledge exchange among researchers and practitioners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the scientific programme, participants will be invited to take part in a social programme designed to encourage networking and informal discussions<\/strong>. The conference will open with an Icebreaker Reception<\/strong>, providing a welcoming setting for participants to meet colleagues and establish new professional connections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The programme will also include a guided excursion to the Geological Museum of the Institute of Geology<\/strong>, offering participants the opportunity to explore one of the country\u2019s most significant scientific museums. The visit will provide an engaging overview of Ukraine\u2019s geological heritage, mineral collections, and natural history<\/strong>, creating an inspiring continuation of the conference discussions in an informal and cultural setting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
