Since 2010, EAGE has consistently supported the scientific community in Ukraine by organising thre annual conferences and one regular workshop, held across the country’s key academic centres.
During 2020–2025, Ukraine hosted:
- 16 EAGE scientific events
- held in Kyiv, Lviv and Odesa
- bringing together hundreds of students, researchers, and industry professionals.
These events strengthen the Ukrainian EAGE community and create a platform for knowledge exchange, innovation, and professional growth.
Regular Events in Ukraine
EAGE organizes three recurring scientific events in Ukraine:
**1. International Scientific Conference
“Monitoring of Geological Processes and Environmental Conditions”**
📍 Held annually in Kyiv.
2. International Conference of Young Professionals “GEOTERRACE”
📍 Takes place every year in Lviv.
3. Workshop on Landslide Hazard and Community Impact Assessment
📍 Hosted in Lviv or Kyiv, depending on the edition.
Event Geography
EAGE events in Ukraine are held in two major scientific hubs:
- Kyiv — home city of the “Monitoring” conference, and host city for Landslide
- Lviv — home of GEOTERRACE and host the Landslide Workshop
- Odesa – host city for Landslide
This geographical spread ensures broad participation, strengthens collaboration between universities, and enhances engagement between academia and industry.
